Good captures. How many shots does it take to get the timing right?
ReplyDeleteThanks!
ReplyDeleteOnce you get set up and can get the drop to land in the same place every time at a regular interval it becomes quite easy to catch a splash 80 to 90 percent of the time. It was probably about 15 shots to get set up, to get the exposure, composition, and focus right. Then we just sit back with a remote shutter release and fire away. It doesn't take long to capture a couple hundred splashes. Of course, no two splashes are the same so many are discarded afterwards.
Nice shot ! Can you show us the famous crown shot ?
