Reuben's been enjoying mashed cereals for a while now. We tried starting him on some meat recently, pureed steak. He didn't really like it. Can't say that I blame him, that stuff looks and smells disgusting! He was excited at first, but didn't quite know what to do once it was in his mouth. It was funny to watch, is that cruel? Poor little guy. He likes chicken much better.
This almost turned out to be the most expensive photo I've ever taken. On the way into this field I had to walk through some tall weeds and got burdocks stuck all over my clothes. When I picked them off they would stick to my hand so I shook my hand to get rid of them. I didn't even notice that my wedding ring flew off with them into the corn field until my friend Alain picked it up and handed it back to me.
Hey there! Just a reminder to all those who live in a timezone where the time changes tonight. Don't forget to turn back the most important clock of all...
Your Camera!
Sorry, I've been slacking again with posting actual pictures. I'll try to do better next week.
I started this blog one year ago today! Time flies. I think I learned a lot over the last year. I started out mostly in auto mode with the kit lens (EF-S 18-55), JPEG mode, with no post processing, and I didn't know what white balance was. Now I'm mostly in Aperture Priority, sometimes manual. I've added two more lenses to my bag, mostly RAW, and everything goes through post processing.
Just a heads up to photographers in Moncton. There's an annual photographic arts festival October 22-24, 2009 called FotoExpo. There's lots of seminars and workshops and photography displays. Check out their website:
Planted some cherry tomatoes this year in a pot. The second photo is the entire harvest. Impressive huh? They were enjoyed on a grilled cheese sandwich. Sorry, I neglected to photograph the sandwich. What's wrong with me?
