Lights

Here's some interesting, kind of abstract, photos of some cars passing by.  I started out with the idea that I'd get some sunset shots and maybe some of the city where I live from a nearby hill, but I was a little slow to get going and missed the sunset completely and I didn't have a tripod at the time, so good night-time shots were out of the question.  These were taken with 3 or 4 second shutter speeds and some deliberate shake and movement.

This is really just a last minute attempt to post something at least three times a week.

  1. Good Job...night photography is a lot of fun, unless you live where I do (upstate NY) and it is already in the 20s at night! You say you just started- you are doing very creative and interesting work.

  2. Yeah, This was taken a couple weeks ago when it was still warm. I'm in Atlantic Canada and today it's been snowing all day for the first time this season, so it's not just the nights that are hard.

Thanks for the complement, but I can't take that much credit really. The majority of my stuff is an imitation of someone else's work. It's hard to come up with something that's truly unique.

How long have you been at this?
